My Spicy Red-Sauce Pasta in 4 Steps

Happy Weekend Ladies! One of the easiest things to do when you run out of dishes is Spicy Red Sauce Pasta! I absolutely love anything fettuccine, alfredo, pesto, or pink pasta, and I have the most delicious spicy recipe to share with you guys!

Spicy Red-Sauce Pasta

Ingredients:

pasta (any shape you prefer)

1 onion

6-7 garlic cloves

6-8 grape tomatoes

10oz tomato sauce

12oz organic pasta sauce (olive oil, basil, and garlic)

vegetable oil

1/4 cup unsalted butter

Seasoning:

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon ground ginger

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons 7 spices

1/2 teaspoon curry

1/2 teaspoon oregano

salt, as desired

Instructions: This Is How I Make My Spicy Red-Sauce Pasta

Step 1: chop up the onion and garlic as small as you want.

Step 2: heat the butter in a large skillet or pot. Add the chopped onion and garlic. Wait for 2 minutes and then add your spices. Wait for it to caramelize and then add the tomato sauce, pasta sauce, and half a cup of water, Stir well. You then add the grape tomatoes and bring the sauce to a simmer.

Step 3: While waiting for the sauce to thicken, in a large pot bring 2 liters of water to a boil. Add salt and vegetable oil. When water comes to a boil, add the pasta. Cook depending on instructions on the pack.

Step 4: Once cooked, drain off in a colander and rinse in cold water to remove any extra starch. By this time the sauce should have thickened. Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, and mix well until well combined. I usually top mine with oregano and mozzarella cheese. Enjoy!
